MEET RON
Ron Fowler serves as the Republican state representative for Missouri’s 31st District in Jackson County, including portions of Blue Springs. First elected in November 2024, he brings more than 32 years of service on the Blue Springs City Council and decades of involvement in community boards and commissions to his work in Jefferson City.
Ron’s career at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant spanned more than 40 years and included engineering and management roles. His experience in industry and local government informs his practical approach to solving problems, managing resources, and holding government accountable to the people it serves.
In the Missouri House, Ron’s priorities include defending all constitutional rights of Missourians, reducing tax burdens, advancing property tax reform, and addressing wasteful government spending. He supports small businesses and policies that strengthen the local economy. He is committed to empowering families so their children receive the best possible education and fully funding law enforcement to keep our communities safe.
As a father and grandfather, Ron wants future generations to have the opportunity to succeed and build a future where the American Dream remains alive and well. He works to keep Blue Springs and Missouri wonderful places to live, work, and raise a family.
